Adoption of digital strategies across the human resource value chain

Orientation: Digital technologies are transforming the way business functions operate, and this also applies to human resource management (HRM) function.Research purpose: The purpose of study is determine extent which South African organisations have adopted digital HRM strategies across (HR) value chain these perceived contribute achievement objectives.Motivation for study: This provides an indication trend adoption whether support goals.Research approach/design method: A quantitative research design using a cross-sectional survey was used. Data were collected by means with questionnaire from 312 professionals line managers in automotive industry Eastern Cape Province Africa. Purposive snowball sampling used, data analysed exploratory factor analysis (EFA), descriptive, paired-sample tests, Pearson correlations regression analysis.Main findings: findings indicate that Strategies been moderately HR chain. contribution towards attainment objectives high.Practical/managerial implications: Constraints such as lack skills practitioners, hinder chain, should be addressed.Contribution/value-add: assists practitioners leaders Africa regarding adopt organisational objectives.
